KAR AUCTION SERVICES HIRES TWO ORR FELLOWS

CARMEL, Ind.—KAR Auction Services, Inc. (NYSE: KAR), a provider of used vehicle auction services, announced they have accepted Kenneth Hall and Cole Tyman as Orr Fellows. KAR Auction Services CEO Jim Hallett made the announcement.

As an Orr Fellow with KAR Auction Services, Tyman will work on a variety of projects focused on project management, idea generation and process improvement. His first project will begin focusing on the feedback system for dealer-facing technology. Hall is an analyst, where his responsibilities include examining different parts of the company, recognizing challenges and using problem-solving skills to find the best solutions for KAR’s customers.

“We are happy to provide these two local graduates with a unique entrepreneurial experience at our company and are confident they will be great assets with a fresh perspective on our team,” said Hallett. “Giving back to our community is a key component of our company core values. Taking on Kenneth and Cole as Orr Fellows reflects our commitment and dedication to developing the next generation of leaders in the Indianapolis community.”

The Orr Fellowship is a professional development program that offers a unique opportunity for undergraduate students seeking a professional experience following graduation. Each Fellow is carefully selected from thousands of applicants and receives executive-level mentorship at a high-growth company in Indiana where they participate in activities and events focused on professional growth and volunteer in the Indianapolis community.

Hall, of Chatham, Illinois, graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in May 2015 with a double major in business management and marketing. Tyman, from Northfield, New Jersey, received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Miami University in May 2015.
